Course Materials:

• 1 marble notebook
• 1 plastic folder
• 1 package of computer paper
• 1 box of tissues
• 1 roll of paper towels
• 1 plastic folder
• Highlighters (yellow, green, blue, pink)
• Pencils/pens
• Wired headphones with audio jack to plug into computer

Requirements: 

• Arrive on time to class each day. If you are going to be late, you must come with a pass.  
• Be prepared with all the materials each day. Failure to do so will affect your grade. 
• All work turned in for a grade must be yours - do not plagiarize someone else’s work. 
• Be respectful of each other.
• Attitude is important - bring your best to class.  

Grading Policy:

15% - Text Analysis/Standards Application

10% -  Extended Skills/Standards Practice/Homework  

25% - Quizzes/Mid-Point Projects

50% - Post Assessments/Writing Pieces/Culminating Tasks
