Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

Welcome to 8th Grade English Language Arts! My name is Jennifer Koliatsis, and I am thrilled to be your child’s ELA teacher this school year. I am excited to begin this journey with each of you as we dive into reading powerful texts, strengthening writing skills, and growing as thoughtful communicators.

In our classroom, students will explore a variety of genres, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop their voices as writers. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where every student feels valued and challenged to do their best. I believe that all students have the potential to succeed, and I am committed to supporting them every step of the way.
