1. Special Education Teachers Support Services (SETSS)- One teacher working with a small group of students, approximately 6 students, in a separate classroom, during non-mandated periods. Students would not miss a core academic class for this service. The classwork in this setting is based on each student's individual levels and supports what the student is working on in their core ELA and/ or Math class.
2. Integrated Co Teaching (ICT)- Two teachers in the classroom working together to educate a full group of students, with and without disabilities. The content is the same as those students in a general education classroom. This setting allows for small group instruction more frequently and for attention to individual student needs, whether that be academic or behavioral. These students' needs will be addressed through various accommodations and modifications of the content.
3. Self-Contained- One teacher in a classroom with a small group of students; approximately 12 students. The content is the same as a general education classroom, however the material will be modified to meet the needs of the students. This may include pacing, alternate texts, task/ skill analysis, or any other methods needed to have the students meet grade level expectations.
